DNA vaccines for the treatment of peanut allergies are provided herein. The vaccine comprises the lumenal domain of the lysosomal associated membrane protein (LAMP) and the coding sequence for one or more peanut allergenic epitopes fused within the frame and the targeting sequence of the LAMP.
