The invention relates to a prosthetic fabric (5) comprising an arrangement (2) of threads defining at least two sides (2a, 3b) of the fabric, said fabric comprising at least one picot (3) on at least one of its sides, projecting outwardly from said side. The invention is characterised in that the picots are covered by a coating (6) consisting of a hydrosoluble biocompatible material. The invention relates to a method for producing such a fabric and prostheses obtained from such a fabric.
