PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbo blood pump having a simple housing structure capable of effectively avoiding formation of a thrombus while avoiding complication of the manufacturing process.SOLUTION: The inner peripheral edge of a part of a plurality of vanes 6 of an impeller 5 is connected to a rotating shaft 7, and the outer peripheral edge of each vane is connected to an annular connecting portion 8. A base 18 formed by protruding the bottom wall of a housing 1 upward has a cylindrical shape corresponding to the internal space of the annular connecting portion. The housing is divided into an upper member 24 and a lower member 25, the periphery of the upper member is extended downward to form a joined cylindrical wall 24a, and the lower member includes a bottom wall 25a forming the bottom of a pump chamber and a side wall 25b extending obliquely to the outside. The periphery of the side wall of the lower member is fitted to the inside of the base end portion of the joined cylindrical wall of the upper member, and an adhesive 26 is filled in a recess formed at the contact portion.
