PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus that can set the image observation order for each image type without depending on the imaging order about images photographed by the modality a medical image server and the medical image reference device.SOLUTION: The magnetic resonance imaging apparatus 10 includes an order setting acquiring section 61 for MRI, an imaging control section 62, and a data processing order controller 63 for MRI. The order setting acquiring section 61 for MRI acquires order setting information in which the examination kind is related to the observation order of each image type corresponding to respective two or more imaging kinds executed in the examination of the examination kind. Imaging control section 62 captures images of two or more imaging kinds executed by the examination of the examination kind in prescribed imaging order and acquires the image data of two or more the image types.
