PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and compositions for treatment of cancer.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a method of treating cancer in a subject by administering to the subject a combination of sodium meta arsenite and/or arsenic trioxide and a cytotoxic anticancer agent (e.g., cisplatin, adriamycin, docetaxel or paclitaxel).
