Methods and compositions suitable for influencing insect behaviour are provided. In a preferred embodiment, the compositions comprise a blend of between two and eight insect attractant compounds selected from the group consisting of: a) compounds of formula (I) b) compounds of formula (II) c) compounds of formula (III). Wherein: n is zero or an integer x is zero or an integer selected from 1-8, or greater than 9 and R is a C1-C12 alkyl. The compositions are useful as bait, with or without other mammalian body odour constituents or synthetic attractants, to attract disease carrying insects to traps or targets.Linvention concerne des procédés et des compositions destinés à influencer le comportement dinsectes.
