The present invention relates to a composition for preventing and treating non small cell lung cancer containing fibulin-3 protein or a polynucleotide encoding the same as an active ingredient, and more specifically, the present invention. The degree of fibrin-3 expression in non-small cell lung cancer is regulated according to the degree of methylation of the fibulin-3 gene promoter of MMP-, which is an infiltration-related factor when the fibulin-3 protein is overexpressed in non-small cell lung cancer cells. As expression of 2 and -7 is decreased and colony formation and cell penetration are reduced, cell growth and cellular invasion of non-small cell lung cancer are inhibited. Thus, the fibulin-3 gene is characterized by inhibition of growth and invasion of non-small cell lung cancer. It can be useful for chemotherapy.본 발명은 피불린-3(fibulin-3) 단백질 또는 이를 암호화하는 폴리뉴클레오티드를 유효성분으로 함유하는 비소세포성 폐암(Non small cell lung cancer) 예방 및 치료용 조성물에 관한 것으로, 더욱 구체적으로 본 발명의 피불린-3 유전자 프로모터의 메틸화 정도에 따라 비소세포성 폐암에서의 피불린-3의 발현량이 조절되고, 비소세포성 폐암 세포에서 피불린-3 단백질이 과발현되는 경우, 침투 관련 인자인 MMP-2 및 -7의 발현이 감소하고 콜로니 형성 및 세포 침투현상이 저하됨으로써, 비소세포성 폐암의 세포 성장 및 세포 침투력이 저해되므로, 피불린-3 유전자는 비소세포성 폐암의 성장 및 침투력 억제를 통한 항암치료에 유용하게 사용할 수 있다.
