PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce vibration transmitted from a blade to operators hands and improves pruning workability.SOLUTION: A trimmer 10 has a pair of blades 15,16, the blades 15,16 are installed to a casing 52 through a guide bar 14. An electric motor 17 as a power source which drives the blades 15,16 is provided in the casing 52, and rotary motion of the electric motor 17 is converted into linear reciprocation of the blades 15,16 by a power conversion mechanism 19.
