PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a rattle between a slider and a guide shaft from occurring in a reciprocating mechanism of a spinning reel and the spinning reel including the same when the reciprocating mechanism reciprocates.SOLUTION: A reciprocating mechanism 8 includes a worm shaft 20, a slider 23, a first guide shaft 21, and an elastic member 24. The worm shaft 20 includes a spiral groove 20a, and rotates in association with rotation of a handle 2. The slider 23 reciprocates in an axial direction together with a spool shaft 5 in conjunction with rotation of the worm shaft 20. The first guide shaft 21 includes a first supporting part 27 and a second supporting shaft 28, and guides reciprocation of the slider 23 on an intermediate part 29 between the first supporting part 27 and the second supporting shaft 28.
