The present invention relates to a high voltage control module of an automated external defibrillator and a control method thereof and, more specifically, to a high voltage control module of an automated external defibrillator, which integrates switches, used for controlling biphasic wave high voltage electric energy for a patient, into one switch to enable the automated external defibrillator to get small sized and is able to control electric shock energy accurately and precisely by the control method. According to the present invention, the high voltage control module of the automated external defibrillator, which is connected to a high voltage capacitor to control and provide the biphasic wave high voltage electric energy for the patient, comprises: an integrated switch controlling the high voltage energy and having first, second, third and fourth switch portions composed of the same kind of switching elements to be applied to one semiconductor； and first, second, third and fourth drivers connected to the integrated switch to operate gates of the first, second, third and fourth switch portions, respectively. In addition, the present invention further comprises transformers at the first and third drivers for blocking flow of current.본 발명은 자동심장충격기의 고전압 제어모듈 및 이의 제어방법에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 환자에게 이상 파형의 고전압 전기 에너지를 제어하기 위해 사용되는 스위치를 하나의 스위치로 통합함으로써 자동심장충격기의 소형화가 가능해지고, 제어방법에 의해 정확하고 정밀하게 전기 충격 에너지를 제어할 수 있는 자동심장충격기의 고전압 제어모듈 및 이의 제어방법에 관한 것이다.즉, 본 발명은 고전압 커패시터와 연결되어 환자에게 이상 파형(Biphasic wave)의 고전압 전기에너지를 제어하여 제공하는 자동심장충격기의 고전압 제어모듈에 있어서, 고전압 전기 에너지를 제어하고 제1,2,3,4스위치부가 동일한 종류의 스위칭 소자로 구성되어 하나의 반도체에 적용된 통합스위치와； 상기 통합스위치에 연결되어 제1,2,3,4스위치부의 게이트를 각각 동작하는 제1,2,3,4드라이버；로 이루어지며, 상기 제1,3드라이버에는 전류 흐름을 차단하기 위한 트랜스포머가 더 구성되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
