PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester complex fiber for artificial hair that has achieved the appearance, feeling and good combability close to human hair, and also has the appearance of many kinds of fibers being combined though, although actuality, it is a single fiber.SOLUTION: A polyester complex fiber for artificial hair consists of two layers of a polyester resin layer containing, by mass, 0.4-5.0% colloidal silica particles whose average primary particle diameter is 0.02-0.1 μm, and a polyester resin layer containing, by mass, 0.4-5.0% dry silica particles whose average primary particle diameter is 0.5-5.0 μm. Part of each of the two kinds of polyester resin layers is exposed on the fiber surface. The ratio of the exposure on the fiber surface of the polyester resin layer containing the colloidal silica particles to the exposure on the fiber surface of the polyester resin layer containing the dry silica particles is made to be 80:20 to 20:80 in terms of the area ratio of the whole side surface of the fiber, so as to acquire the polyester complex fiber for artificial hair that achieves both the appearance and good combability close to human hair.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】人毛に近似した外観と風合いと櫛通り性の良さを実現し、さらには単一の繊維でありながら多種類の繊維を組み合わせたかのような外観を併せ持つ人工毛髪用ポリエステル複合繊維の提供。【解決手段】平均一次粒子径が0.02~0.1μmであるコロイダルシリカ微粒子を0.4~5.0質量%含有するポリエステル樹脂層と平均一次粒子径が0.5~5.0μmの乾式シリカ粒子を0.4~5.0質量%含有するポリエステル樹脂層の2層からなる人工毛髪用ポリエステル複合繊維であって、前記2種類のポリエステル樹脂層の一部が共に繊維表面に露出していることを特徴とし、前記コロイダルシリカ微粒子を含有するポリエステル樹脂層と乾式シリカ粒子を含有するポリエステル樹脂層の繊維表面への露出比率が、繊維全側面の面積比で80:20~20:80の条件を適用することで、人毛に近似した外観と櫛通り性の良さを兼ね備えた人工毛髪用ポリエステル複合繊維が得られる。【選択図】なし
