PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil disinfecting machine capable of blocking the soil scattering as a basket car rotates while enhancing the soil disinfecting effect of a chemical by the basket car.SOLUTION: The soil disinfecting machine 1 is attached to a tractor 2, which is a traction travelling vehicle, for injecting the chemical force-fed by chemical pumps 27L and 27R into the soil 53 with first and second chemical injection claws 18 and 19. The soil disinfecting machine 1 includes the basket car 40 and a cover 24 which is a cover member for covering the basket car 40 from above. The basket car 40 has round bars 44, bar members extending in the lateral direction of the soil disinfecting machine 1, and is formed in the shape of a cylindrical basket in which the round bars 44 are circumferentially disposed as seen from a side.
