To reduction the manufacturing cost of a reaping and conveying apparatus of a combine harvester and to smooth the conveyance of grain culms.
SOLUTION: A reaping and conveyance supporting frame (5) is constituted by connecting a transverse reaping and supporting transmission case (4) to a front end of a reaping frame (3). The reaping and conveyance supporting frame (5) is provided with a multirow-reaping apparatus (6) disposed in a low position in the front and side conveying chains (8L and 8R) and an intermediate conveying chain (9) for collecting the grain culms for each reaping row so as to convey them to a grain culm-joined section (7) in the rear. The intermediate conveying chain (9) is engaged with a driving sprocket (11) above a POWER transmission cylinder (10) for retrieving POWER, which is provided in the front of the reaping frame (3), so as to allow the transmission of the POWER. The POWER transmission cylinder (10), which is internally fitted with a POWER transmission shaft (12), is extended out forward and upward while avoiding the grain culm-joined section (7) which gets closer to the rear, and subsequently bent to the upper rear side, so as to form a POWER transmission path in an approximate chevron shape in a side view and which goes around the grain culm-joined section (7).
