The housing is mounted to a wall (12) and penetrates into a remote area (24) behind the wall. The housing also has an access hole (30,110). The pest detection device is positioned behind the wall. The line is connected to the housing at a first end (38) and is connected to the pest detection device at a second end (40,118).
