PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological communication device 4 and a biological communication system 2 that use a pair (two sheets) of electrodes 10 for both biological signal detection and transmission by human body communication, detects a biological signal such as an electrocardiogram, and transmits the detected biological signal via a human body in real time.SOLUTION: A biological communication system 2 includes a pair of electrodes 10 pasted to a human body a biological communication device 4 and a human body communication reception unit 40. The biological communication device 4 includes: a biological signal detection unit 20 for detecting a biological signal from the electrodes 10 and an AD conversion unit 50 and the human body communication reception unit 40 for converting the biological signal into a digital signal to perform human body communication.
