PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a stent to be indwelled easily without a threat of displacement when an inner tube is pulled back to the base end side and to be inserted easily into a stenosis part.
SOLUTION: This stent indwelling apparatus comprises an outer tube 1 and an inner tube 2, and a stent 3 is interposed between the tubes and inserted into the body. A constrictive balloon 6 is positioned on the tip of the inner tube. A step part of the balloon and a step part of the tip opening part of the outer tube are caught together so as to make mutual peripheral surfaces evenly connected together at the abutting part of the balloon and the tip opening part of the outer tube. A reduced diameter part 8 is formed which tapers off towards the tip of the balloon.
