PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope device capable of recognizing a distance and a contact position between an inserting instrument or a treating instrument and an object without needing special configuration.
SOLUTION: A stereo measurement part 206 performs stereo measurement and obtains the three-dimensional information of a measurement point from video signals by two left and right observation windows, and a treating instrument contact position calculation control part 207 obtains the contact position and the distance from the three-dimensional information and the route of the treating instrument. Thus, the three-dimensional relation of the treating instrument and the object is easily recognized.
