PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a tooth cleaning tool only rubbing a polishing member onto a tooth surface cannot efficiently clean (rub off) strong dirt adhering to the tooth surface.SOLUTION: A tooth cleaning tool includes a polishing member 2 attached to the tip part of a head part 13 of a tool body case 1, and capable of removing dirt on a tooth surface Ta by rubbing on the tooth surface Ta. An electrode bar 5 is provided within the polishing member 2 in a state in which a tip part 5a of the electrode bar 5 is exposed from a tip end surface 2a of the polishing member 2, and an electrode terminal 34 of a negative electrode for a direct current is connected to the electrode bar 5, while an electrode terminal 35 of a positive electrode for a direct current is connected to an earth plate 4 provided on an outer surface proper place of the tool body case 1. This allows the dirt on the tooth surface Ta to be efficiently removed by both actions to the dirt on the tooth surface Ta, including a mechanical releasing action by rubbing of the tip end surface 2a of the polishing member, and an electrical decomposition action by negative ions continuously discharged from the electrode bar 5.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】研磨部材を歯面に擦り付けるだけの歯清掃器具では、歯面に付着している頑固な汚れを効率よく清掃(擦り落とす)することができない。【解決手段】器体ケース1のヘッド部13の先部に、歯面Taに擦り付けることで歯面の汚れを除去し得る研磨部材2を取付けた歯清掃器具であって、研磨部材2内に電極棒5を、該電極棒5の先端部5aが研磨部材2の先端面2aより露出する状態で設けるとともに、電極棒5に直流電流のマイナス極の電極端子34を接続する一方、器体ケース1の外面適所に設けたアース板4に直流電流のプラス極の電極端子35を接続していることにより、歯面Taの汚れに対して、研磨部材先端面2aの擦り付けによる機械的剥離作用と、電極棒5から連続放出されるマイナスイオンによる電気的分解作用の両作用で歯面の汚れを効率よく除去し得るようにしている。【選択図】 図2
