The invention relates to a process for the cosmetic treatment, in particular care or makeup, of keratin materials comprising the following steps: a) a step of application to the keratin materials of a cosmetic composition comprising a compound comprising at least 2 groups maleimide； b) a step of applying a cosmetic composition comprising a compound comprising at least 2 furfuryl groups. The invention also relates to a kit comprising the two composiitons for implementing said method. The invention also relates to copolymers of furfuryl (meth) acrylate, of particular (meth) acrylamide and of additional monomer chosen from polyethylene glycol (meth) acrylates and mono (meth) acryloyloxy end-group polydimethylsiloxanes. L'invention concerne un procédé de traitement cosmétique, en particulier de soin ou de maquillage, des matières kératiniques comprenant les étapes suivantes : a) une étape d'application sur les matières kératiniques d'une composition cosmétique comprenant un composé comprenant au moins 2 groupements maléimide ； b) une étape d'application d'une composition cosmétique comprenant un composé comprenant au moins 2 groupements furfuryle. L'invention concerne également un kit comprenant les deux composiitons permettant la mise en œuvre dudit procédé. L'invention concerne aussi des copolymères de (méth)acrylate de furfuryle, de (méth)acrylamide particulier et de monomère additionel choisi parmi les (méth)acrylates de polyéthylèneglycol et les polydiméthylsiloxanes à groupement terminal mono(méth)acryloyloxy.
