PURPOSE: A spinal fixation instrument using a shape memory alloy is provided to prevent an unnecessary damage in the spine, thereby speeding a recovery of spinal function. CONSTITUTION: A spinal fixation instrument is provided for fixing the spine of a human body. The spinal fixation instrument is made of a shape memory alloy having a plate structure. The spinal fixation instrument includes a body portion at the both ends, in which hooks are prepared for being hung on a surgical site.
