PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent disturbance in resolution in a scanning direction by suppressing occurrence of ram wave propagated in scanning direction of a vibrator.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic probe 2 is equipped with a plurality of vibrators 100 arrayed in a scanning direction (X direction). The plurality of vibrators 100 are separated from each other by dividing a piezoelectric body which transmits/receives supersonic waves by a first division groove (main die groove) 31 at each specified interval. Each of the plurality of vibrators 100 includes a plurality of division elements (sub die element)101 formed by further being divided by a second division grove (sub die groove)32 parallel to the first division groove.
