PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate a relative dielectric constant without previously measuring the relative dielectric constant of a subject, obtain a signal propagation speed on the basis of the estimated relative dielectric constant, and estimate the position of an implant device on the basis of the signal propagation speed and a signal arrival time.SOLUTION: A position detection apparatus receives a signal transmitted from an implant communication device terminal inside a subject with a plurality of reception devices to detect a position of the implant communication device.
