PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calcium phosphate sintered compact particle group suitable to medical application, particularly as the material for medical equipment introduced into the living matter.SOLUTION: Provided is a ceramic particle group made of ceramic particles, in which the particle diameter of the ceramic particles lies in the range of 10 to 700 nm, also, the variation coefficient of the particle diameter of the ceramic particle group is 20% or lower, and the ceramic particles being calcium phosphate sintered compact particles, the ceramic particles do not substantially include calcium carbonate, and also, the ceramic particles include apatite carbonate at least on the surfaces thereof. Preferably, in the particle diameter of the ceramic particles, the maximum diameter of the minor axis is 30 to 5 μm, the major axis is 75 to 10 μm, growth is shown in the c axis direction, the aspect ratio (c axis length/a axis length) of the crystals is 1 to 30, and the ceramic particles being almost spherical ones with a truncated columnar structure in which the tip angle has an oblique angle face.SELECTED DRAWING: None【課題】医療用途、特に生体内に導入される医療機器の材料として適しているリン酸カルシウム焼結体粒子群の提供。【解決手段】セラミック粒子からなるセラミック粒子群であって、前記セラミック粒子の粒子径が、１０～７００ｎｍの範囲内で、且つ前記セラミック粒子群の粒子径の変動係数が、２０％以下であり、前記セラミック粒子が、リン酸カルシウム焼結体粒子であり、前記セラミック粒子が、炭酸カルシウムを実質的に含まず、且つ、前記セラミック粒子が、少なくともその表面に炭酸アパタイトを含むセラミック粒子群。好ましくは、前記セラミック粒子の粒子径が、短軸の最大直径が３０～５μｍ、長軸が７５～１０μｍであり、ｃ軸方向に成長し、結晶のアスペクト比（ｃ軸長／ａ軸長）が、１～３０であり、先端角が斜角面を有する截頭形柱状構造の略球であるセラミック粒子である、セラミック粒子群。【選択図】なし
