The present invention relates to a seedling protecting vegetation mat composition using a wood by-product, a vegetation mat using the same, and a manufacturing method of the vegetation mat. The vegetation mat composition comprises a kudzu creeper pulverized powder which is obtained by dissociating and pulverizing peat moss, pine sawdust which is the wood by-product, kudzu creeper which is the wood by-product. In addition, the vegetation mat composition using the wood by-product is pressurized and molded to be manufactured into a vegetation mat block and is integrally formed with normal soil even if the vegetation mat is not removed after installation. Also, the component of the vegetation mat composition serves as a nutrient component of the seedling, thereby promoting growth of the seedling and exhibiting mothproofing and weeding effects.본 발명은 목재 부산물을 이용한 유묘 보호용 식생 매트 조성물 및 이를 이용한 식생 매트, 상기 식생 매트의 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 상기 식생 매트 조성물은 피트모스, 목재 부산물인 소나무 톱밥, 목재 부산물인 칡넝쿨을 해리하고 분쇄하여 얻어지는 칡넝쿨 분쇄 분말로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 한다.또한, 상기 목재 부산물을 이용한 식생 매트 조성물을 가압 성형하여 식생 매트 블록으로 제조하며, 설치 후 식생 매트를 제거하지 않아도 일반 토양과 일체화되며, 식생 매트 조성물의 성분이 유묘의 영양성분으로 작용하여 유묘의 생장을 촉진시키고, 방충, 제초 효과를 나타내는 것을 특징으로 한다.
