The X-ray imaging apparatus is provided with a secondary driving device, which is controlled by the main body-controlling device (400), an electricity-storing means (2) for storing electric power to be supplied to the X-ray imaging member (7), and an electric power supply means (3) for supplying electric power to the electricity-storing means (2). The X-ray imaging member (7) and the electricity-storing means (2) are connected and the secondary driving device causes the electricity-storing means (2) and the X-ray imaging member (7) to move locally as a unit without moving relative to each other.
