The present invention relates to a novel bacteriophage having anE.coli-specific bactericidal activity, a composition for the prevention or treatment of infectious diseases caused by EnterotoxigenicE.colicomprising the bacteriophage as an active ingredient, an antibiotic comprising the bacteriophage as an active ingredient, a feed additive composition comprising the bacteriophage as an active ingredient, a sanitizer or cleaner comprising the bacteriophage as an active ingredient, and a method for treating colibacillosis using the bacteriophage. The novel bacteriophage of the present invention has a specific bactericidal activity against pathogenicE.coli, and excellent acid- and heat-resistance. Therefore, the novel bacteriophage can be used for the prevention or treatment of swine colibacillosis, which is an infectious disease caused by pathogenicE.coli, and can also be widely used in animal feed additive compositions, sanitizers, and cleaners.本發明係有關一種具有大腸桿菌(E.coli)特異性殺菌活性之新穎噬菌體、一種包含該噬菌體作為活性成份供預防或治療由腸毒性大腸桿菌所引起傳染性疾病之組成物、一種包含該噬菌體作為活性成份之抗生素、一種包含該噬菌體作為活性成份之飼料添加劑組成物、一種包含該噬菌體作為活性成份之消毒劑或清潔劑、及一種使用該噬菌體治療大腸桿菌症之方法。本發明之新穎噬菌體具有針對病原性大腸桿菌之特異性殺菌活性，且具有極佳之抗酸性與抗熱性。因此，該新穎噬菌體可用於預防或治療豬之大腸桿菌症(其係一種由病原性大腸桿菌引起之傳染病)，且亦可廣泛用於動物飼料添加劑組成物、消毒劑及清潔劑中。
