To provide: a purified glyceride composition which contains less 3-chloropropane-1,2-diol and less fatty acid esters of 3-chloropropane-1,2-diol； and a method for producing the purified glyceride composition. A method for producing a purified glyceride composition of the present invention is characterized by comprising a step of performing an alkaline clay treatment wherein a glyceride composition, which has not been subjected to a deodorization process, and alkaline clay are brought into contact with each other. The alkaline clay treatment may be a bleaching process, and a deodorization process may be additionally contained after the alkaline clay treatment.
