PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmic apparatus (slit lamp) by which a favorable observation can be performed by reducing an uncomfortable feeling resulting from the discharge of static electricity generated when an examiner touches a patient.SOLUTION: In the observation of the eye of the patient, there is the case where the examiner may touch the face (eyelid) of the patient in order to open the eyelid of the eye of the patient. Also, there is the case where a finger of the examiner may come into contact with the face of the patient when an eye examining lens is placed in front of the eye in order to bring a contact lens for the observation into contact with the eye. In this case, if either one of the patient and the examiner has been charged, when the examiner touches the patient, the discharge of static electricity occurs, and both of the examiner and the patient feel the uncomfortable feeling. Especially, the patient feels a strong uncomfortable feeling because the patient receives a stimulation on the face and the eye.
