The present invention relates to an antimicrobial composition including a hexene fraction or butanol fraction of oriental garden cricket (Teleogryllus emma) extract as an active ingredient and, more specifically, to a broad spectrum antimicrobial composition against gram-positive bacteria containing, as an active ingredient, a hexene fraction or butanol fraction collected by sequentially fractionizing ethanol extract of oriental garden crickets, which are domestic native crickets, with an organic solvent. As evidenced by an embodiment of the present invention, the hexene fraction or butanol fraction of oriental garden cricket extract as an active ingredient of the antimicrobial composition of the present invention: exhibits excellent antimicrobial activity against food poisoning bacteria which causes allergic food poisoning such as proteus vulgaris and gram-positive bacteria； and has an excellent effect of being used for purposes such as a pharmaceutical composition, health functional food, a cosmetic composition, an animal feed composition, additives for food, cosmetics, or animal feed, various washing agents, and various cleaning agents.
