A seed delivery apparatus including a plurality of front furrow openersmounted on animplement frame and a plurality of rear furrow openers mounted on theimplement framearranged such that the front furrow openers create furrows that are betweenadjacent rear furrowopeners. A plurality of singulating meters is mounted on the implement frame,each singulatingmeter connected to dispense seeds through a split conduit to the connectedlaterally adjacentfront and rear furrow openers. A diversion plate in the split conduit isoperative to direct theseeds to either of the connected front and rear furrow openers or both of thefront and rear furrowopeners.
