The present invention provides a new method for reducing the synthesis of cholesterol and fat on the basis of PAQR3. Specifically, disclosed is that PAQR3 is involved in the biosynthesis of cholesterol and lipid. PAQR3 is a membrane protein distributed on the Golgi apparatus, and it anchors SREPB and Scap to the Golgi apparatus by binding to them and promotes SREBP to synthesize cholesterol and lipid. By the regulation of PAQR3 activity, the synthesis of cholesterol and fat could be regulated.La présente invention concerne une nouvelle méthode pour diminuer la synthèse du cholestérol et des lipides, basée sur PAQR3. Plus particulièrement, la présente invention montre que PAQR3 est impliqué dans la biosynthèse du cholestérol et des lipides. PAQR3 est une protéine de membrane présente au niveau de lappareil de Golgi, et cette dernière ancre SREPB et Scap à lappareil de Golgi en sy liant, et stimule SREBP à synthétiser le cholestérol et les lipides. En régulant lactivité de PAQR3, il est possible de réguler la synthèse du cholestérol et des lipides.
