PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner with a humidifying function, capable of performing an operation so as to suppress generation of mold inside an air conditioning object space, and to provide a method of operating the air conditioner with the humidifying function.SOLUTION: An air conditioner with a humidifying function having a humidifying means M for humidifying an inside of an air conditioning object space B includes: a blowing means 8 for performing a ventilation operation so as to suck a gas inside the air conditioning object space B, make it pass through a processing space 31, and then return it into the air conditioning object space B； a microplasma generation means 30 for generating discharge inside the processing space 31 and generating microplasma； a humidity detection means 12 for detecting an absolute humidity inside the air conditioning object space B； and a control means C for controlling operation of the humidifying means M so that the absolute humidity detected in the humidity detection means 12 becomes 0.01 g/g [DA (dry air)] or higher, and operating the microplasma generation means 30 in a state where the absolute humidity detected in the humidity detection means 12 is 0.01 g/g(DA) or higher.【課題】空気調和対象空間内のカビの発生を抑制するように運転し得る加湿機能付空気調和機及び加湿機能付空気調和機の運転方法を提供する。【解決手段】空気調和対象空間Ｂ内を加湿する加湿手段Ｍを備えた加湿機能付空気調和機であって、空気調和対象空間Ｂ内の気体を吸い込んで処理空間３１を通過させた後、空気調和対象空間Ｂ内に戻すように通風作用する送風手段８と、処理空間３１内で放電を生じさせてマイクロプラズマを発生させるマイクロプラズマ発生手段３０と、空気調和対象空間Ｂ内の絶対湿度を検出する湿度検出手段１２と、湿度検出手段１２にて検出される絶対湿度が０．０１ｇ／ｇ（ＤＡ）以上になるように、加湿手段Ｍの作動を制御し、並びに、湿度検出手段１２にて検出される絶対湿度が０．０１ｇ／ｇ（ＤＡ）以上の状態でマイクロプラズマ発生手段３０を作動させる制御手段Ｃとが設けられている。【選択図】図１
