A plurality of dot-shaped recesses (ED10) are provided to at least one of the skin side and the non-skin side of the absorbent body (10). The distance from the skin side surface of the absorbent article (1) to the linear guide section (15) in the center of the linear guide section (15) in the width direction is smaller than the distance from the non-skin side surface of the absorbent article (1) to the linear guide section (15). The plurality of dot-shaped recesses (ED10) form first rows along the lengthwise direction and second rows adjacent to the first rows in the width direction on one side and on the other side of the linear guide section (15) in the width direction.
