PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair with a middle frame in which an outer frame of the wheelchair can be prevented from being expanded due to users weight, a caregivers visual line is not hindered when using the wheelchair outdoors, the wheelchair can be smoothly moved on step difference or unevenness of a road, and a middle frame can be detachably attached to the wheelchair.SOLUTION: The wheelchair with a middle frame is configured in such a way that: a U-shape underframe horizontal bar is placed to overlap on an outer frame rear lateral bar and a middle frame 8 is connected to outer frames 36, an opening prevention fixture 30 and receiving bars 26 each having a surrounding plate 27 around them are formed, the receiving bars 26 are engaged on support bars 28 on the inside of the right and left of the outer frame respectively to fix a chair base, and both vertical bars of the middle frame are cut on a backrest to form a lower half body 18.
