The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating fibrosis including luteolin as an active ingredient. The luteolin according to the present invention has excellent effects of inhibiting accumulation of connective tissue in liver and fat tissues and inhibiting infiltration of macrophage, and therefore, can be used to prevent or treat fibrosis.본 발명은 루테올린을 유효성분으로 포함하는 섬유증의 예방 또는 치료용 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 루테올린은 간 및 지방 조직에서 결합 조직의 축적을 억제하고 대식세포의 침윤을 억제하는 우수한 효과를 가지고 있어, 섬유증의 예방 또는 치료에 유용하게 이용될 수 있다.
