PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antibacterial deodorant which stably supports silver ions and exerts antibacterial and deodorant properties for a long time.

SOLUTION: The antibacterial deodorant comprises an antibacterial deodorant component and silica-based compound oxide particles. The antibacterial deodorant includes 0.1-25 wt.% of silver ions as the antibacterial deodorant component in the form of Ag2O. The silica-based compound oxide particles includes alkali metal ions. The content of the alkali meal ion contained in the silica-based compound oxide particle as M2O (M represents an alkali metal) is between 1 and 20 wt.%. The alkali metal ion is represented by Na ion.
