PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling transplanting machine that prevents the consumption of an extra fertilizer and the occurrence of a section not supplied of the fertilizer, enables proper fertilization work, and improves work performance of fertilization.SOLUTION: A seedling transplanting machine includes, in a traveling vehicle body 2 provided with an engine 20, a handle 34 a seedling planting part 4 with a seedling platform 51, a planting unit 52 and floats 55-57 a fertilizing unit 5 a float attack angle sensor 162 and a turning interlocking mechanism T for turning on and off the lifting/lowering of the seedling planting unit 4 and the operation of the planting unit 52 in conformity to handle operation. The seedling transplanting machine is provided with: a fertilization clutch 422 for turning on and off the transmission to the fertilizing unit 5 and a control unit 163 for turning off the fertilization clutch 422 when the seedling planting unit 4 rises by the turning interlocking mechanism T and the attack angle of the float 55 becomes larger than a predetermined angle or the planting clutch 25a is turned off, and for turning in the fertilization clutch 422 when the seedling planting unit 4 comes down and the attack angle of the float 55 becomes less than a predetermined angle.
