PURPOSE: Upside-down cultivation method and apparatus for seaweed are provided to cultivate the seaweed on the land without using massive amount of sea water.CONSTITUTION: An upside-down cultivation method for seaweed comprises the following steps: collecting spores of the seaweed, and planting on a substrate(40) installing the substrate upside down for the surface with the spores to face the gravity direction, and growing the seaweed installing a sprayer(30) for spraying the moisture and nutrients to the seaweed and controlling the spraying period and amount by a spray controller(70). The substrate is formed with an upper water storage tank and a lower water storage tank.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2012통상 기질에 채묘된 해조류를 해수 중에 침적시켜 양식하는 기존의 해조류 양식방법에서 탈피하여 대량의 해수 없이 해조류를 양식하기 위해, 기질에 해조류를 부착시키고, 부착된 기질 면이 중력방향을 향하도록 뒤집어 설치하고, 해조류가 향하는 중력방향의 바닥에는 해조류에 수분과 양분을 분사시키는 분무기를 설치하여 분무기의 분사주기와 분무량을 분무기 제어 컨트롤러에 의해 제어하며, 해조류가 향하는 중력 반대 방향의 상부에는 해조류에 광합성 작용을 일으키기 위한 광원을 설치하여 광원의 점등주기와 조사량을 광원 제어 컨트롤러에 의해 제어하는 것을 특징으로 하는 해조류 거꾸로 양식방법 및 양식장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 육상시설의 환경제어가 편리한 장점과 해조류 양식에서 필요한 대량의 해수를 사용하지 않는 새로운 양식방법이 확립됨으로서 해조류도 육상의 실내에서 농작물의 수경재배와 같이 공장형으로 대량재배 생산이 가능하다.
