PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION COMPRISING THE EXTRACT OF NARDOSTACHYS CHINENESIS AS AN EFFECTIVE COMPONENT FOR PREVENTION OR TREATMENT OF DISEASES RELATED TO THROMBOSIS AND HEALTH FUNCTIONAL FOOD COMPRISING THE SAME
The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition and a functional health food, which contain an extract of Nardostachys chinenesis as an active ingredient for preventing or treating thrombotic diseases, and more specifically, to a pharmaceutical composition containing a hot-water extract of Nardostachys chinenesis as an active ingredient for preventing or treating thrombotic diseases, and to a functional health food containing the extract. As verified through examples of the present specification, the extract of Nardostachys chinensis, as an active ingredient of the pharmaceutical composition and the functional health food for preventing or treating thrombosis-related diseases, is produced by preparing an extract from Nardostachys chinenesis through hot-water extraction and fractionizing the extract with hexene. The hexene fraction exhibiting an antithrombotic activity through a blood coagulation factor inhibiting effect and a platelet aggregation inhibiting effect can efficiently suppressing thrombosis, and can be used to prevent and treat thrombosis, such as ischemic stroke and hemorrhagic stroke, through the improvement of blood circulation. Particularly, the extract of Nardostachys chinensis of the present invention does not show acute oral toxicity, has excellent thermal stability, and does not exhibit the loss of an antithrombotic effect even under an acidic condition of pH 2 and in the plasma, thereby being processed into various types, such as an extract, a powder, a pill, and a tablet, and thus being prepared in a form that can be taken at normal times.
