The present invention relates to a cow's milk composition having an increased content of vitamins and/or minerals. In particular, the milk of the present invention is enriched with water soluble vitamins and minerals, such as at least one of selenium, iodine, biotin, zinc, vitamin B1, B2, B6 and B12. The invention further relates to a method to produce milk rich in water soluble vitamins and minerals, the method comprising feeding of a cow having the KK genotype of the DGAT1 gene with a feed enriched with at least one water soluble vitamin or mineral selected from the list consisting of selenium, iodine, biotin, zinc, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B5, vitamin B6, and milking of the cow. The milk composition can be used in the preparation of dairy products, such as milk, cream, cheese, or yoghurt.La présente invention concerne une composition de lait de vache ayant une teneur augmentée en vitamines et/ou minéraux. En particulier, le lait de la présente invention est enrichi en vitamines et minéraux hydrosolubles, tels qu'au moins l'un parmi le sélénium, l'iode, la biotine, le zinc, les vitamines B1, B2, B6 et B12. L'invention concerne en outre un procédé pour produire un lait riche en vitamines et minéraux hydrosolubles, le procédé comprenant l'alimentation d'une vache ayant le génotype KK du gène DGAT1 en un aliment enrichi en au moins une vitamine ou un minéral hydrosoluble choisi(e) dans la liste constituée des sélénium, iode, biotine, zinc, vitamine B1, vitamine B2, vitamine B5, vitamine B6, et la traite de la vache. La composition de lait peut être utilisée dans la préparation de produits laitiers, tels que le lait, la crème, le fromage ou le yogourt.
