A method for forming a coated particle having a core particle that is fully coated by a dual- layer coating that includes an inner layer formed of a hydrophilic composition and an outer layer formed of a hydrophobic polymer. The core particles are added to a hydrophilic solution and mixed together. The hydrophobic polymer is then added to form a mixture. The mixture is sonicated to coat the particles and the coated particles are separated and dried to form meta-stable coated particles.Linvention concerne un procédé pour former une particule revêtue ayant une particule de coeur qui est entièrement recouverte par un revêtement à double couche qui comprend une couche interne formée dune composition hydrophile et une couche externe formée dun polymère hydrophobe. Les particules de coeur sont ajoutées à une solution hydrophile et mélangées les unes avec les autres. Le polymère hydrophobe est ensuite ajouté pour former un mélange. Le mélange est soumis à des ultrasons pour revêtir les particules et les particules enrobées sont séparées et séchées pour former des particules revêtues méta-stables.
