PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin arm for forceps having high strength and low deformation by using the same resin as a conventional resin arm and using the same amount. SOLUTION: The resin arm for forceps of the present invention has a first arm 1 and a second arm 2 which can be opened and closed and swung around a pivot 4, and the first and second arms are made of synthetic resin. Each arm is provided with fitting portions 14 and 24 in the central portion, grip portions 11 and 21 are provided at the tip portions of the front side handle portions 1a and 2a from the fitting portion, and the handle portions 1b and 2b rearward from the fitting portion. The tail is provided with grips 13 and 23, respectively, and the opposite sides of the grip are provided with a ratchet mechanism 9 that operates in the closing direction of the first and second arms, and at least one of the front handle and the rear handle.
