[Object] To provide an outer absorbent article having attached thereto an inner absorbent article such as a urine absorption pad to be used, in which the outer absorbent article is configured to prevent inside thereof from wetting due to condensation of vapor escaped from inside an inner absorbent article. [Solution] An outer absorbent article of the present invention is an outer absorbent article having an absorbent body formed from at least one layer of an absorption layer, wherein the absorbent body includes a water-absorbent resin powder satisfying the following requirements of (a) to (d). (a) Specific surface area measured by BET multipoint method: 0.040 m2/g to 0.200 m2/g (b) Vapor blocking ratio: 0% to 0.90% (c) Absorption ratio: 30 g/g to 70 g/g (d) Water retention amount: 45 g/g to 60 g/gCette invention concerne un article absorbant externe sur lequel est fixé un article absorbant interne, par exemple une protection urinaire, larticle absorbant externe étant conçu pour éviter que sa partie intérieure se mouille par condensation de vapeur séchappant de larticle absorbant interne. Larticle absorbant externe de linvention comporte un corps absorbant formé au moins dune couche dabsorption, le corps absorbant comprenant une résine en poudre absorbant leau répondant aux critères (a) à (d) : (a) surface spécifique mesurée par la méthode BET multipoint : 0,040 m2/g à 0,200 m2/g, (b) imperméabilité à la vapeur : 0 % à 0,90 %, (c) rapport dabsorption : 30 g/g à 70 g/g, (d) rétention deau : 45 g/g à 60 g/g.
