<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing silage intended for effectively using the parent taro part of taro which is not used for food and wasted, as poultry/livestock feed. <；P>；SOLUTION: This method for preparing the excellent silage which has high nutritive value and high palatability of poultry/livestock comprises using as the main raw material parent taro after collecting daughter tuber as an edible part from taro, adding yoghurt to the material followed by lactic fermenting, and anaerobically storing the product in a container with airtightness for a fixed period, or performing fermentation and storage in a slightly aerobical excellent condition.
