The present invention discloses a novel biomarker of HCC, RARRES2, and more specifically discloses a polypeptide with anticancer activity, comprising sequence of YFPGQFAFS or its variant. The invention also provides the use of the polypeptide in preparing the medication for treating and preventing caner, in preparing the medication for inhibiting Akt signal pathway. The invention also discloses a detecting kit for cancer prognosis, assessing the survival time of cancer patients through detecting the expression level of RARRES2 in a sample from the object.La présente invention concerne un nouveau biomarqueur de HCC, RARRES2, et, plus particulièrement, concerne un polypeptide ayant une activité anticancéreuse, comprenant une séquence de YFPGQFAFS ou de son variant. L'invention concerne également l'utilisation du polypeptide dans la préparation du médicament pour le traitement et la prévention du cancer, dans la préparation du médicament pour l'inhibition de la voie de signalisation par Akt. L'invention concerne également une trousse de détection pour le pronostic du cancer, l'estimation du temps de survie de patients cancéreux par la détection du taux d'expression de RARRES2 dans un échantillon provenant du sujet.
