The present invention relates to a recombinant adeno-associated virus vector for the treatment of neurological diseases such as epilepsy, which comprises a polynucleotide that encodes a protein that enhances the suppressive function of inhibitory synapses in a living body, preferably a neuroligin 2 protein. A pharmaceutical composition containing the same is provided.
