PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology to support a user in formation of a trace line complying with user operation.SOLUTION: A trace auxiliary cross-section 100 is set to include a target tissue 42 in the cross-section and to cross a reference cross-section 58 for manual trace. A reference cross-section image 58A is a tomogram corresponding to the reference cross-section 58 for manual trace, while an auxiliary cross-section image 100A is a tomogram corresponding to the trace auxiliary cross-section 100. A point P in the reference cross-section image 58A and a point P in the auxiliary cross-section image 100A correspond to the identical point in a three-dimensional data space. Even for the identical point, its legibility in an image may differ with a cross-section.
