PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article made wearable at a rear part along the center part of a body so that its fitness is improved to prevent the leakage of a body liquid.SOLUTION: An absorbent article for peelably covering an adhesive layer formed on the face at the side of a back surface sheet 2 is constructed to comprise a front side release member 10 arranged on the longitudinally front side, and a rear side release member 11 arrayed on the longitudinally rear side. A pocket space 13 opened to the front side is formed in the outer face on the side of said back surface sheet 2 and at a widthwise center part of the rear side end part of a sanitary napkin 1. The rear side peeling member 11 is composed of a cover part 14 covering the adhesive layer and a pulling part 15 extending toward the rear side from the front end part of said cover part 14. The end part of said pulling part 15 is inserted into said pocket space 13, and is folded back at the end part of said pocket space 13. This folded end part is protruded from said opening 12 to the outside of said pocket space 13.
