A control unit (28) analyzes the sensor signal, and controls a property of a sound signal, in response to (a) the analyzing of the sensor signal, and (b) a historical physiological parameter of the subject that was exhibited in response to a historical sound signal. The control unit drives a speaker (70) to play the sound signal.
