To provide a riding type furrow opener free from trouble of moving with unexpectedly high speed by excessive manipulation of a manipulation member in turning and having good supporting stability of a machine body in turning.
SOLUTION: A low speed manipulation member 12 and a middle and high speed manipulation member 13 are used as manipulation members for operating rotational speed of an engine 5. The low speed manipulation member 12 can be manipulated while gripping a prescribed exit-side grip 9 between a pair of right and left grips and can operate the engine only within a prescribed low-speed rotation range. The middle and high speed manipulation member 13 can be manipulated by gripping a grip 10 of the side opposite to the exit-side grip 9 and can operate the engine 5 up to a middle and high rotation range. Motion with unexpectedly high speed can be prevented by manipulating the low speed manipulation member 12 in the case of turning the machine.
